Scholarship Winner, Jacob Cichelero!!

Congratulations to our MMA student Jacob Cichelero.He won the 2012 St. Louis Priory School Nussbaum Scholarship.This scholarship is awarded each year to a seventh grader who displays "exceptional musical talent" at the St. Louis Priory School. It pays a portion of tuition for all 6 years. Jacob competed against a number of talented students and reached the final round where he was selected as winner. Jacob takes a weekly 60 minute lesson with Ms. Yulia at Milder Musical Arts. |

Beverly and I were talking about my kids and their growth since I was crawling around on the floor with them in “Music ‘n’ Me,” playing “Sugar Cookies” endlessly on our little keyboard. Now they are all teenagers, with the oldest a Senior in High School, but all are still actively developing their skill at piano with Larissa. Beverly asked me to write some thoughts on what we’ve done to encourage their continued work and growth in music. Full article and performance videos >

The Saint Louis Business Journal awarded Milder Musical Arts One of the Best Places to Work in St. Louis, 2010. The school is currently expanding the faculty and the facilities by adding an additional classroom and private rooms in the shopping center.
